A total of six new members will be introduced to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2018. Jack Morris and Alan Tramell are selected by the veterans` committee to include legends from the recent past, Chipper Jones, Vladimir Guerrero, Jim Tommy and Trevor Hoffman. % of the vote of the American Baseball Association Journalist (BBWAA).

The 42-year-old former outsider was one of the last representatives of the old school that held the bat with bare hands.

Trevor Hoffman -;the only pitcher in this year`s class, has become only the sixth milestone in history chosen in the Hall of Fame. The 50-year-old Florida Marlins (1993), San Diego Padres (1993-2008) and Milwaukee Brews (2009-2010) have 601 winning wins, with only Mariano Rivera (652).
