Ashley Barty`s incredible 2019 year ended in the most magical way with winning the WTA Finals after a 6:4, 6:4 win over Elina Svitolina at the Shenzhen Finals. The Australian did not hide her emotions from the perfect season, in which she triumphs over Roland Garros, Birmingham and Miami.


It`s weird. To be completely honest, this is the most amazing year for me and my team. It was exciting to end the season with such a strong game, especially after winning so much with my team so far. Now we will have time for balance and rest, and then we will prepare for 2020.

The difference in the finish made my finer performances. In our previous games with Elina, she always managed to keep up with a lot of fights, even when I reached the lead. Now I was trying to make the right decisions in the big points, and that was happening throughout almost the entire match.

It`s very exciting in China, I`ve been playing really well here for the last few years and I knew there would be a lot of emotion now that I was coming back to Shenzhen. This is a new era for women`s tennis. I hope to come back and defend my title next year.


The year was incredible, I would have to sit down and watch some of the moments again to experience them again. Some memories stand out, but there were so many important and key moments in some of the smaller games that made me proudest during the year.

Now I`m going to spend a little more time with my family, stay in Australia and rest. I will try to train to improve my game according register for soccer picks and continue to develop daily.
