Soccer tipster Atalanta overshadowed Juve at the Italian football awards

The Juventus champion was surprisingly not selected as the best team at the Gran Gala del Calcio awards ceremony, also known as the Italian Soccer Oscars. The prize was given to the Atalanta team, which finished third in Serie A last season and qualified for the Champions League. Bergamas coach Can Piero Gasperini has been named the best coach of the season.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who received his award in Milan and missed the Golden Ball ceremony in Paris, became the best player.

In the ideal team of the season, most are represented by Juventus - Ronaldo, Giorgio Kielini, Miralem Pianic and Joao Canzelo. The only other team with more than one football player in the star eleven is Atalanta.
