The Spanish tennis superstar Rafael Nadal has received serious recognition from sports fans. The 19-time Grand Slam winner has won the ESPN ranking for the most dominant individual achievement in the sport since the beginning of the millennium. The 12-time Roland Garros champion defeated Usain Bolt, the world record holder in the 100m and 200m, in the final. A total of 16 athletes/teams were nominated by ESPN to participate in the survey. On the way to winning the final, Nadal eliminated Kobe`s Lakers in the quarter-finals, Mayweather in the quarter-finals and Phelps in the semi-finals.
