Yuki Tsunoda spoke about progress in 2022 and plans for the off-season.


Pilot Alpha Tauri noted that he was not going to spend much time at home, as he was afraid to put on weight.


I would say that I am generally satisfied with [the season]. I feel liberated during the weekends, especially on Thursdays and Fridays. Previously, I did not know how to act, I was constantly nervous - especially last year, in a hurry. It was frustrating, I made life difficult for myself. Now I can be somewhat relaxed and understand how to adapt to any situation.


I feel confident - even when something unexpected happens. So I`m quite happy with the progress. I hope I continue in the same spirit.


At the moment I plan to spend some more time in Europe. I will go to Japan, but I think for a short time, as was the case last year. Then I will return to Europe and train like I did before last season. I don`t plan to stay in Japan, otherwise I`ll become too fat! Tsunoda said.
