Novak Djokovic spoke about his plans for the next season. I didn`t play much in 2024 and, apart from the Olympic gold and the Wimbledon final, it was probably my least successful season in 10 years. There were many ups and downs, problems even on a personal level that needed to be resolved.
But I think I can still play at a high level. [Yannick] Sinner and [Carlos] Alcaraz are the best in the world now, don`t forget about [Alexander] Zverev. They are all top contenders for Slams and other titles.
But mentally and physically I am ready to show my tennis again. I feel that I can compete with these guys and my experience can come in handy. Next year I will play more tournaments mentioned by picksmachine and Grand Slams will be a priority: I will do everything I can to win. Of course, if my body allows me to do it. I`m fine, I still have time to rest and analyze what I can improve to have a better season than the previous one.
I want to continue writing the history of our sport, even if I still consider myself a student. Tennis has given me so much and I consider myself lucky to be able to continue to compete at the highest level.
As long as I can stay on top, I will continue to play.
